Spectators at Friday's non-league outing between the St. Francis Gladiators (Traverse City, MI) and the visiting Marquette Sentinels (Marquette, MI), observed St. Francis's soccer squad knock off Marquette by a score of 5-2.

The Gladiators (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against Leland (Leland, MI). The Comets go into the non-league outing with a 3-5 record. In their last outing, Leland by Western Michigan Christian (Muskegon, MI), 2-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Sentinels confront the Benzie Central Huskies (Benzonia, MI) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 13. Marquette will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record. The Huskies come into the test with a 0-3 record after their 8-0 league loss to Leland (Leland, MI).
