In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Sequoyah Indians softball team scored a nice 12-2 victory over the Commerce Tigers.

The Indians (22-8) will now prepare for their match against Adair (Adair, OK). The Warriors go into the 3A match with a 15-9 record. In their last game, Adair was routed by Dewey (Dewey, OK), 4-1, in a league game.

The Tigers now hold a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Fairland for a 2A game on Saturday, September 13. Commerce will play a Owls squad coming off a 9-4 non-league win over Vian (Vian, OK). The Owls record now stands at 10-5.
