The Mid-Buchanan Dragons the visiting Eureka Wildcats softball squad by a count of 3-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Dragons now sport a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rock Bridge for a non-league test on Friday, September 12. Mid-Buchanan will clash with a Bruins squad coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE). The Bruins record now stands at 5-4.
The Wildcats (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Incarnate Word Academy (St. Louis, MO). The Red Knights go into the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Incarnate Word Academy was routed by Cor Jesu Academy (St. Louis, MO), 14-4, in a non-league contest.
