The Kiefer Trojans triumphed over the host Newcastle Racers softball squad by a count of 12-0 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Trojans now possess a 22-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kellyville for a 3A battle on Monday, September 15.

With the loss, Newcastle moves to 10-4 on the season. The Racers travel to Silo (Silo, OK) to meet the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 12. The Rebels enter the challenge with a record of 19-4. Silo won 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Kingston (Kingston, OK)
