In Friday's non-league challenge, the host John Ehret Patriots volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Abramson Commodores.

The Patriots (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Livingston Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA). The Wolves go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Livingston Collegiate Academy was defeated by Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Commodores now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Plaquemines for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. Abramson will face a Hurricanes squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy (New Orleans, LA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 1-1.
