The Ballard Memorial Bombers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Kentucky Country Day Bearcats to 1 in the Bombers non-league triumph on Friday.

Next up, the Bombers confront the Bishop Brossart Mustangs (Alexandria, KY) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 12. Ballard Memorial will attempt to advance on its 15-5 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 10-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY).

The Bearcats (7-5) will now prepare for their bout against Sayre (Lexington, KY). The Spartans come into the non-league bout with a 8-1 record. In their last bout, Sayre nipped Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY), 3-1, in a non-league bout.
