Kentucky High School Volleyball - Musselman tips Betsy Layne

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Musselman Applemen (Inwood, WV) and the host Betsy Layne Bobcats (Betsy Layne, KY), observed Musselman's volleyball team hold off Betsy Layne by a count of 2-1.

The Applemen (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Dickson County (Dickson, TN). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Dickson County got by Northwest (Clarksville, TN), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Bobcats battle the Bell County Bobcats (Pineville, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 13. Betsy Layne will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Bobcats enter the contest with a 7-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Middlesboro (Middlesboro, KY).
