The Sayre Spartans tipped the host Bishop Brossart Mustangs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league game.
Next up, the Spartans confront the Kentucky Country Day Bearcats (Louisville, KY) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 12. Sayre will attempt to advance on its 10-1 season record. The Bearcats enter the game with a 7-3 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to LKY (Louisville, KY).
The Mustangs (10-5) will now prepare for their game against Ballard Memorial (Barlow, KY). The Bombers enter the non-league game with a 13-5 record. In their last game, Ballard Memorial was tipped by Marshall County (Benton, KY), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
