Alabama High School Volleyball - Gulf Shores tips Central

September 12, 2025: Florence, AL 35633

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Gulf Shores Dolphins (Gulf Shores, AL) and the host Central Wildcats (Florence, AL), observed Gulf Shores's volleyball team hold off Central by a count of 2-1.

The Dolphins (16-5) will now prepare for their contest against Robertsdale (Robertsdale, AL). The Golden Bears enter the non-league contest with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, Robertsdale was tipped by Orange Beach (Orange Beach, AL), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Wildcats battle the Brooks Lions (Killen, AL) in a 4A Area 14 contest, on Monday, September 15. Central will attempt to move on its 17-7 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 6-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to Deshler (Tuscumbia, AL).
