Mountain View Eagles (Kingsley, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Elk Lake Warriors (Dimock, PA), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Eagles (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Blue Ridge (New Milford, PA). The Raiders come into the Lackawanna challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Blue Ridge beat North Pocono (Covington Township, PA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Warriors play the Western Wayne Wildcats (Lake Ariel, PA) in a Lackawanna outing, on Monday, September 15. Elk Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the outing with a 2-4 record after their 3-1 league loss to Montrose (Montrose, PA).
