The Bulldogs (13-18) will now prepare for their contest against Gonzales (Gonzales, TX). The Apaches enter the non-league contest with a 4-15 record. In their last battle, Gonzales tipped Nixon-Smiley (Nixon, TX), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Cubs now own a 8-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burton for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 16. Round Top-Carmine will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Iola (Iola, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 25-8.
