Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Scott County Cardinals (Georgetown, KY) and the host Frankfort Panthers (Frankfort, KY), observed Scott County's volleyball team top Frankfort by a tally of 2-0.

The Cardinals (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bowling Green (Bowling Green, KY). The Purples enter the non-league contest with a 13-2 record. In their last test, Bowling Green achieved victory over Warren Central (Bowling Green, KY), 3-0, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin County for a District 41 test on Tuesday, September 16. Frankfort will encounter a Flyers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Western Hills (Frankfort, KY). The Flyers record now stands at 9-8.
