Colorado High School Volleyball - Genoa-Hugo/Karval tips Kit Carson

September 12, 2025: Hugo, CO 80821

In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Genoa-Hugo/Karval Pirates volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Kit Carson Wildcats.

The Pirates (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Peyton (Peyton, CO). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Peyton got by South Park (Fairplay, CO), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the McClave Cardinals (McClave, CO) in a 1A High Plains challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Kit Carson will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Cardinals go into the test with a 9-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Simla (Simla, CO).
