The Grant Union Prospectors volleyball team (John Day, OR), was knocked off 2-0 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Imbler Panthers (Imbler, OR)

The Panthers (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Heppner (Heppner, OR). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 7-4 record.

Next, the Prospectors battle the Powder Valley Badgers (North Powder, OR) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 12. Grant Union will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Badgers go into the battle with a 3-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Weston-McEwen (Athena, OR).
