St. Amant Gators (St. Amant, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Hahnville Tigers (Boutte, LA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Gators (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Sulphur (Sulphur, LA). The Golden Tors enter the non-league challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Sulphur was beaten by St. Louis Catholic (Lake Charles, LA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Sulphur Golden Tors (Sulphur, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Hahnville will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Golden Tors enter the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Westminster Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA).
