California High School Volleyball - Inglewood tips Lawndale

September 12, 2025: Inglewood, CA 90301

Fans at Friday's league contest between the Inglewood Sentinels (Inglewood, CA) and the visiting Lawndale Cardinals (Lawndale, CA), saw Inglewood's volleyball squad nudge Lawndale by a score of 3-2.

With the win, Inglewood improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Sentinels travel to Leuzinger (Lawndale, CA) to face the Olympians in a Ocean test on Friday, September 19. The Olympians go into the test with a record of 2-5. Leuzinger won 3-1 in their recent league test against Hawthorne (Hawthorne, CA)

The Cardinals now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Santa Monica for a Ocean challenge on Wednesday, September 17. Lawndale will meet a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Los Osos (Rancho Cucamonga, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-3.
