Illinois High School Volleyball - Monmouth United can't get by Lena-Winslow

The Lena-Winslow Panthers edged the visiting Monmouth United Red Storm volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league game.

Next up, the Panthers confront the Williamsville Bullets (Williamsville, IL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 13. Lena-Winslow will attempt to advance on its 9-2 season record. The Bullets go into the game with a 4-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Staunton (Staunton, IL).

With the loss, Monmouth United drops to 3-8 on the campaign. The Red storm travel to Gillespie (Gillespie, IL) to play the Miners in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 13.
