In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Warren East Raiders volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Letcher County Central Cougars.
The Raiders (14-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Rowan County (Morehead, KY). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 10-1 record.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Christian Academy-Louisville Centurions (Louisville, KY) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 13. Letcher County Central will attempt to advance on its 9-3 season record. The Centurions go into the test with a 10-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Rowan County (Morehead, KY).
