The Mt. Mansfield Cougars volleyball team (Jericho, VT), was knocked off 3-1 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Middlebury Tigers (Middlebury, VT)

The Tigers (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Enosburg Falls (Enosburg Falls, VT). The Hornets enter the Division 2 contest with a 3-1 record.

Next, the Cougars meet the Essex Hornets (Essex Junction, VT) in a Division 1 test, on Wednesday, September 17. Mt. Mansfield will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Hornets go into the test with a 4-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT).
