Tennessee High School Volleyball - Musselman over Smith County

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Musselman Applemen (Inwood, WV) and the host Smith County Owls (Carthage, TN), observed Musselman's volleyball team notch a victory over Smith County by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Musselman improves its record to 14-4 on the season. The Applemen travel to Dickson County (Dickson, TN) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 8-6. Dickson County won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Northwest (Clarksville, TN)

Next, the Owls battle the Betsy Layne Bobcats (Betsy Layne, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 13. Smith County will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Bobcats enter the contest with a 7-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Lawrence County (Louisa, KY).
