Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Pacific Grove Breakers (Pacific Grove, CA) and the host Notre Dame Spirits (Salinas, CA), observed Pacific Grove's volleyball team achieve victory over Notre Dame by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Pacific Grove improves its record to 8-2 on the season. The Breakers travel to Palma (Salinas, CA) to encounter the Chieftains in a test on Thursday, September 18. The Chieftains go into the test with a record of 7-2.

The Spirits now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westmont for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. Notre Dame will meet a Warriors team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Leland (San Jose, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-5.
