Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Orcas Island Vikings (Eastsound, WA) and the host Pateros Billygoats/Nannies (Pateros, WA), observed Orcas Island's volleyball team top Pateros by a count of 2-0.

The Vikings (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Vernon Christian (Mount Vernon, WA). The Hurricanes go into the 1B/2B Northwest battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Mount Vernon Christian was defeated by Goldendale (Goldendale, WA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Billygoats/Nannies now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waterville for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 18.
