In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Paradise Adventist Academy Cougars volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Sacramento Adventist Capitals.

The Cougars (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Oroville (Oroville, CA). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 8-10 record. In their last challenge, Oroville beat CORE Butte (Chico, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Capitals meet the Buckingham Charter Knights (Vacaville, CA) in a Sacramento Metropolitan test, on Monday, September 15. Sacramento Adventist will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 8-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Cristo Rey (Sacramento, CA).
