South Dakota High School Volleyball - Sturgis Brown Pierre T.F. Riggs

The Pierre T.F. Riggs Governors topped the visiting Sturgis Brown Scoopers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Friday's league game.

Next up, the Governors face the Spearfish Spartans (Spearfish, SD) in a AA District 1 game, on Saturday, September 13. Pierre T.F. Riggs will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Spartans come into the outing with a 8-5 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD).

With the loss, Sturgis Brown drops to 3-7 on the campaign. The Scoopers travel to Aberdeen Central (Aberdeen, SD) to play the Golden Eagles in a AA District 1 outing on Saturday, September 13. The Golden Eagles go into the game with a record of 3-1. Aberdeen Central won 3-1 in their recent league game against Huron (Huron, SD)
