In Friday's non-league bout, the Ridgewood Rebels (Norridge, IL) volleyball team knocked off the host Walther Christian Academy Broncos (Melrose Park, IL), by a margin of 2-0.

The Rebels now possess a 10-0 record. They play next when they travel to Elmwood Park for a Upstate Eight bout on Tuesday, September 16. Ridgewood will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 5-3.

With the defeat, Walther Christian Academy falls to 10-5 on the year. The Broncos host Northtown (Chicago, IL) to battle the Pumas in a Chicago Prep match on Tuesday, September 16. The Pumas enter the match with a record of 2-2. Northtown lost 2-0 in their recent league match against Westmont (Westmont, IL)
