Sevier County Smoky Bears (Sevierville, TN) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Wilmington Christian Academy Patriots (Wilmington, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Sevier County improves its record to 4-5 on the season. The Smoky Bears host Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC) to meet the Blues in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 13. The Blues go into the test with a record of 4-2. Asheville School (Independent) won 3-0 in their recent league test against Carolina Day (Asheville, NC)

The Patriots now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Asheville Trailblazers for a non-league test on Friday, September 12. Wilmington Christian Academy will face a Trailblazers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Enka (Enka, NC). The Trailblazers record now stands at 3-0.
