The Rhea County Golden Eagles soccer team scored 6 points and limited the visiting Hixson Wildcats to 0 in the Golden Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.
Next, the Golden Eagles face the Sequoyah Chiefs (Madisonville, TN) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 19. Rhea County will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Chiefs enter the contest with a 0-9 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Lenoir City (Lenoir City, TN).
The Wildcats now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Soddy Daisy for a AA District 8 contest on Thursday, September 15. Hixson will face a Trojans team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Signal Mountain (Signal Mountain, TN). The Trojans record now stands at 4-6.
