The Cherokee Braves volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Highlands Highlanders to 1 in the Braves non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Braves now possess a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Murphy for a game on Tuesday, September 20. Cherokee will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Franklin (Franklin, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-3.
The Highlanders (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Swain County (Bryson City, NC). The Maroon Devils enter the non-league game with a 6-4 record. In their last game, Swain County nipped Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
