With the triumph, Twiggs County moves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Cobras host Georgia Military College (Milledgeville, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A D-II Region 5 contest on Thursday, September 15. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 5-3. Georgia Military College lost 14-1 in their recent non-league contest against West Laurens (Dexter, GA)

In their next game, the Bobcats play the Wheeler County Bulldogs (Alamo, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 4 contest, on Wednesday, September 14. Dooly County will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 5-10 record after their 8-7 league win over Treutlen (Soperton, GA).
