In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Rocky Ford Meloneers softball team scored a close 18-12 win over the James Irwin Jaguars.

Coming up next, the Meloneers encounter the Alamosa Mean Moose (Alamosa, CO) in a 3A Tri Peaks outing, on Thursday, September 15. Rocky Ford will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Mean Moose enter the outing with a 5-7 record after their 17-7 non-league loss to Delta (Delta, CO).
