Utah High School Volleyball - Alta over Riverton

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Alta Hawks (Sandy, UT) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Riverton Silverwolves (Riverton, UT), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Hawks battle the Timpanogos Timberwolves (Orem, UT) in a 5A Region 8 contest, on Thursday, September 15. Alta will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Timberwolves come into the contest with a 10-4 record after their 3-2 league win over Orem (Orem, UT).

With the loss, Riverton drops to 9-4 on the campaign. The Silverwolves travel to Herriman (West Herriman, UT) to battle the Mustangs in a 6A Region 3 contest on Thursday, September 15. The Mustangs come into the contest with a record of 11-1. Herriman won 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Brighton (Salt Lake City, UT)
