The Arcola Purple Riders volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Oakland/Kansas/Shiloh Titans to 0 in the Purple Riders league victory on Tuesday.

The Purple Riders now possess a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cerro Gordo/Bement for a Lincoln Prairie game on Thursday, September 15. Arcola will meet a Broncos team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Decatur Lutheran/Decatur Christian (Decatur, IL). The Broncos record now stands at 3-7.

The Titans (5-4) will now prepare for their game against Villa Grove (Villa Grove, IL). The Blue Devils enter the Lincoln Prairie game with a 8-5 record. In their last game, Villa Grove was dropped by Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond (Arthur, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
