The Avalon Eagles volleyball team (Avalon, TX), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Rio Vista Eagles (Rio Vista, TX)

The Eagles (12-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Texas Wind (Waco, TX). The enter the non-league challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Texas Wind defeated Stephenville FAITH (Stephenville, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Frost Polar Bears (Frost, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 16. Avalon will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Polar Bears enter the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Penelope (Penelope, TX).
