In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Cherokee Braves volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Highlands Highlanders.

The Braves (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Nantahala (Topton, NC). The Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record.

Next, the Highlanders clash with the Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 15. Highlands will attempt to advance on its 6-6 season record. The Maroon Devils come into the battle with a 6-5 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC).
