In Tuesday's league contest, the Dixie Hornets (Due West, SC) volleyball squad were winner over the host South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind Hornets (Spartanburg, SC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Hornets face the Brashier Middle College Charter Bengal (Simpsonville, SC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, September 14. Dixie will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Bengal go into the contest with a 2-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Southside Christian (Simpsonville, SC).

With the loss, South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind moves to 0-1 on the year. The Hornets travel to Ware Shoals (Ware Shoals, SC) to face the Fighting Hornets in a A Region 2 contest on Thursday, September 15. The Fighting Hornets go into the contest with a record of 1-6.
