The Pirates now have a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heard County for a non-league game on Thursday, September 15. Pike County will meet a Braves team coming off a 2-0 league win over Lamar County (Barnesville, GA). The Braves record now stands at 13-12.

The Panthers (2-9) will now prepare for their game against Mitchell County (Camilla, GA). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 0-7 record. In their last game, Mitchell County dropped by Quitman County (Georgetown, GA), 2-1, in a league game.
