The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM), saw Sandia's soccer squad knock off Cibola by a margin of 3-1.
The Matadors now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Hope Christian for a non-league test on Friday, September 15. Sandia will meet a Huskies squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM). The Huskies record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Cibola drops to 0-1 on the season. The Cougars host Valencia (Los Lunas, NM) to meet the Jaguars in a non-league test on Saturday, September 16. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 2-1. Valencia won 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Miyamura (Gallup, NM)
