The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Pierce Bears (Arbuckle, CA) and the visiting Williams Yellowjackets (Williams, CA), saw Pierce's volleyball squad beat Williams by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Pierce upgrades its record to 16-3 on the year. The Bears host Winters (Winters, CA) to play the Warriors in a bout on Thursday, September 14. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Winters won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Willows (Willows, CA)

The Yellowjackets now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Maxwell for a bout on Tuesday, September 19. Williams will play a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Paradise Adventist Academy (Paradise, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-5.
