The Shalhevet Firehawks volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) Panthers to 1 in the Firehawks non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Firehawks now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Compton Early College for a game on Tuesday, September 19. Shalhevet will meet a Rising Phoenix team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Ambassador (Torrance, CA). The Rising Phoenix record now stands at 0-6.

The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Wildwood (Los Angeles, CA). The Wolves enter the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Wildwood nipped Crossroads (Santa Monica, CA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
