Ridgewood Rebels (Norridge, IL) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Nazareth Academy Roadrunners (LaGrange Park, IL), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Rebels confront the Northridge Knights (Niles, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 16. Ridgewood will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Lake Forest Academy (Lake Forest, IL).

The Roadrunners now have a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Niles Notre Dame for a East Suburban Catholic challenge on Saturday, September 16. Nazareth Academy will confront a Dons team coming off a 2-1 league win over St. Patrick (Chicago, IL). The Dons record now stands at 7-1.
