Roosevelt Roughriders (Washington, DC) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host School Without Walls Penguins (Washington, DC), 1-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Roughriders confront the E.L. Haynes (Washington, DC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 14. Roosevelt will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC).
The Penguins now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host BASIS for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 15.
