The Flanagan-Cornell Falcons volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Dwight Trojans to 1 in the Falcons non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Falcons now have a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fieldcrest for a Heart of Illinois game on Thursday, September 14. Flanagan-Cornell will meet a Knights team coming off a 2-0 league win over Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley (Gibson City, IL). The Knights record now stands at 11-3.

The Trojans (3-14) will now prepare for their game against Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL). The Mallards enter the Tri-County game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Henry-Senachwine was nudged by Princeville (Princeville, IL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
