The Seneca Fighting Irish topped the visiting Gardner-South Wilmington Panthers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Fighting Irish now have a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marquette for a Tri-County test on Thursday, September 14. Seneca will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Somonauk (Somonauk, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-2.

The Panthers (0-9) will now prepare for their test against Clifton Central (Clifton, IL). The Comets enter the River Valley test with a 6-8 record. In their last test, Clifton Central gained a win over Illinois Lutheran (Crete, IL), 2-1, in a league test.
