Pennsylvania High School Football - Valley View nips Abington Heights

September 13, 2024: Archbald, PA 18403

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Valley View Cougars (Archbald, PA) and the visiting Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA), witnessed Valley View's football squad edge Abington Heights by a tally of 18-13.

The Cougars (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Honesdale (Honesdale, PA). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Honesdale was nudged by Mid Valley (Throop, PA), 27-14, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Comets battle the North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA) in a Lackawanna 1 contest, on Friday, September 20. Abington Heights will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Trojans enter the contest with a 3-1 record after their 21-14 league loss to Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA).
