In Friday's league match, the visiting Zane Trace Pioneers football squad scored a good 27-6 triumph over the Adena Warriors.

The Pioneers (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Piketon (Piketon, OH). The Redstreaks come into the Scioto Valley match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Piketon defeated Huntington (Chillicothe, OH), 46-0, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Warriors confront the Southeastern Panthers (Chillicothe, OH) in a Scioto Valley match, on Friday, September 20. Adena will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 1-3 record after their 62-6 league loss to Paint Valley (Bainbridge, OH).
