Louisiana High School Football - Airline tops Benton

September 13, 2024: Bossier City, LA 71111

The Airline Vikings football squad scored 55 points and held the visiting Benton Tigers to 28 in the Vikings league victory on Friday.

The Vikings (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Union Parish (Farmerville, LA). The Farmers enter the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Union Parish was beaten by Alexandria (Alexandria, LA), 41-12, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Tigers confront the Huntington Raiders (Shreveport, LA) in a 5A District 1 match, on Friday, September 20. Benton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Raiders enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 46-35 league win over Captain Shreve (Shreveport, LA).
