Cleveland Central Wolves (Cleveland, MS) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Amanda Elzy Panthers (Greenwood, MS), 40-14 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Cleveland Central improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Wolves travel to Southaven (Southaven, MS) to play the Chargers in a non-league battle on Friday, September 20. The Chargers go into the battle with a record of 0-3. Southaven lost 42-20 in their recent non-league battle against South Panola (Batesville, MS)

The Panthers now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Greenwood for a non-league battle on Friday, September 20. Amanda Elzy will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 16-0 non-league win over Greenville (Greenville, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-0.
