The Appleton North Lightning football squad scored 24 points and limited the host Oshkosh West Wildcats to 7 in the Lightning league triumph on Friday.
The Lightning now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hortonville for a Fox Valley test on Friday, September 20. Appleton North will meet a Polar Bears squad coming off a 6-0 league win over Appleton East (Appleton, WI). The Polar Bears record now stands at 1-3.
With the defeat, Oshkosh West drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Neenah (Neenah, WI) to meet the Rockets in a Fox Valley test on Friday, September 20. The Rockets come into the test with a record of 2-2. Neenah lost 17-6 in their recent league test against Kaukauna (Kaukauna, WI)
