Dwight/Gardner-South Wilmington Trojans (Dwight, IL) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Aurora Central Catholic Chargers (Aurora, IL), 46-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Dwight/Gardner-South Wilmington improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Trojans travel to Marquette (Ottawa, IL) to play the Crusaders in a Chicagoland Prairie battle on Friday, September 20. The Crusaders go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Marquette lost 48-13 in their recent league battle against Seneca (Seneca, IL)

The Chargers now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Walther Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, September 20. Aurora Central Catholic will play a Broncos team coming off a 61-0 league loss to St. Bede (Peru, IL). The Broncos record now stands at 0-2.
