Pennsylvania High School Football - Hopewell crushed by Beaver

September 13, 2024: Beaver, PA 15009

Beaver Bobcats (Beaver, PA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Hopewell Vikings (Aliquippa, PA), 49-17 in a league battle.

With the win, Beaver improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Central Valley (Monaca, PA) to play the Warriors in a non-league battle on Friday, September 20. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 1-3. Central Valley won 49-0 in their recent non-league battle against McGuffey (Claysville, PA)

The Vikings now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Avonworth for a WPIAL AAA Western Hills battle on Friday, September 20. Hopewell will play a Antelopes team coming off a 44-7 non-league loss to Thomas Jefferson (Jefferson Hills, PA). The Antelopes record now stands at 2-2.
